The contract covers your cooling unit. The base vehicle, insulation and other vehicle equipment are not automatically included.
The standard tiers combine 1,500 operating hours with a maximum of 30,000 km, or 3,000 operating hours with a maximum of 60,000 km per year. Both limits apply, whichever is reached first.
C206RA / C206RC: 90,000 km per year requires special approval and a term of no more than 36 months. The operating-hour limit is agreed individually.
CoolJet C103 EA, C106 EA, C203 EA, C203 EAT and C206 EA are electric units. C206RA and C206RC are vehicle-powered units (VP – Vehicle Powered).

Knowing the limits of the contract helps you understand exactly what you can rely on.
- Work by unauthorised workshops and emergency service outside the Kerstner service network.
- Damage caused by inadequate care or missed scheduled maintenance.
- Accident damage, theft and force majeure, such as storms or hail.
- Unauthorised modifications, improper handling and consequential damage; continued operation despite problems or alarm codes.
- Use with unsuitable temperatures or products, and damage caused by incorrect power supply or refrigerant.
- Cargo damage and scheduling disruptions.

What is Service FLAT?
Service FLAT is a maintenance contract for the agreed CoolJet cooling unit. It includes scheduled maintenance and spare parts, repairs including wear parts, all components and wear-related unit replacement, and preventive repairs. Agreed limits and exclusions apply.
Are wear parts and wear-related unit replacement included?
Yes, within the agreed scope. Damage caused by accidents, improper use or failure to meet maintenance obligations is excluded.
How is Service FLAT paid?
Service FLAT can be agreed with monthly payments or advance payment, as stated in your quotation. Your personal conditions are set out in the quotation.
Is 90,000 km per year available for every contract term?
C206RA / C206RC: No. This usage tier requires special approval and a maximum term of 36 months. The operating-hour limit must be agreed individually.
How often must the cooling unit be serviced?
The model-specific maintenance sheet and agreed usage limits apply. The unit must be presented to a Kerstner service partner at the prescribed interval, at least once a year. The earlier due limit must be observed.
Can an existing CoolJet unit be admitted?
Please have your unit's eligibility checked first. A CoolJet already in operation requires a paid inspection before the contract starts. Repairs already due are at your expense. Age, condition and usage must meet the admission requirements.
What happens when the vehicle leaves my fleet?
You must provide suitable documentary evidence to the contract issuer. Once submitted, the contract for this vehicle terminates. Transfer to a new owner is excluded. Any advance payment already made will not be refunded upon this termination.
Are cargo damage or delivery delays covered?
No. Cargo damage and scheduling disruptions are excluded from the scope of cover.
