Important

Kerstner assesses the refrigeration unit, interior insulation, base vehicle, payload and temperature range together. This creates a refrigeration solution that works in daily use, rather than a purely theoretical unit selection.

With electric refrigeration, the distinction remains clear: the refrigeration unit can operate electrically even if the vehicle itself is not battery-electric.
