How the eSprinter becomes an efficient refrigerated vehicle
How can an eSprinter refrigerated vehicle be used without unnecessarily affecting its range? In our new product video, Torsten Lehle shows how Kerstner converts the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter into a capable, practical refrigerated vehicle.
The high-quality frozen-goods lining provides an important foundation. It has few joints and is therefore particularly easy to clean. Effective insulation also reduces potential thermal bridges. This keeps the required temperature in the load space for as long as possible while limiting the refrigeration system’s energy demand.
Electric operation uses a power take-off, or ePTO. The aerodynamically favourable position of the underfloor refrigeration system also supports efficient operation. Depending on the selected equipment, refrigeration run-on of up to twelve hours is possible. The vehicle can also be fitted with optional 230-volt stationary refrigeration.
Efficient insulation combined with modern refrigeration helps minimise the refrigeration system’s impact on the electric van’s range.
