The Kerstner chilled goods conversion for the Fiat e-Scudo combines the highest insulation performance with consistent practicality – developed and manufactured for everyday use in food and chilled goods transport.
The conversion achieves a K coefficient of below 0.4 W/m²K and is classified as “heavily insulated” under ATP requirements. This is made possible by the seamless connection of all insulation elements – including at the sliding door – without gaps or thermal bridges.
The electric refrigeration system reliably maintains the temperature range from 0 °C to +20°C throughout the journey.
The polyurethane insulation components are water-repellent, antibacterial and impact-resistant, and meet the requirements of the ATP and HACCP guidelines. The easy-to-clean surface reduces the effort required to maintain hygiene in day-to-day operation.
Thanks to its computer-optimised fit, the conversion provides a usable load volume of 3.3-3.9 m³ with unobstructed clearance between the wheel arches, suitable for loading Euro pallets.
